Ngarranggarni Rock

“When my mother was real little, she bin going with all the old women to go digging for water lilly. When you dig right down beneath the water lily to the roots, you get this potato, it's real hairy, but good tucker. Nearby that stone, it's a Ngarranggarni (Dreaming) stone and those old women used to talk to that stone. They been tell him what they want, what they need. That stone's still there at Greenvale station – my mother's country.”
