Lajarri is Margaret's traditional country which is south-east of Bidyadanga. As a child she travelled with her parents across this country. They travelled down the road in the middle. This painting shows the wet season when the country is full of water. At this time there is much mayi (bush tucker) and the country is very beautiful. This is an important place for Maragaret.
