Bringing Cattle From the Bush into the Station

“Early days after the muster they bring all the bullock into the station. They used to count them, 600-700 or more, into the paddock. Sometimes they would break out through the fences. My father used to patrol the fences. If any broke through he'd have to tell the station men and they would have to muster them back up again.”
