Laargen is an area of country along the Keep River. In this area the river flows into a loop, surrounding a large shallow billabong. The big rains turn the open grasslands marshy during the wet season. Above Laargen are small hills and ant pits. Ant pit is eaten for bush medicine. In the lower right is a large hill called Goodim. This was an important camping area for Miriwoong people.
