Boxer has painted the progress of Sturt Creek as it travels south west towards the huge freshwater lake, Parrakur, or Lake Gregory. The different channels of Sturt Creek are shown, although the central one is the main channel. This country is known as Karapridi, and it is where Boxer lived and hunted as a young man. His wirrin, or windbreak is shown as the white U shape. The small black rectangular shape is Parrakur, the lake itself.
