Barrdbarrd Marni Ngarrdi (barramundi shaking herself)
Yilarra (barramundi) came into the Jaliriba (Walcot River) inlet near Munja. She swam towards the Molgnana (Calder River) in the fresh water on Kalurrungarri country. She wanted to go into the Molgnana (Jargurrlin ngarbun di gunda Molgnana). Old Damalarr Ngarri (black headed python) blocked the way. Yilarra couldn’t swim through at the Molgnana crossing (Marnumburrangarrdi darrd bu ma gunda Garrlu). Wandjina told her to go back because she belongs to the saltwater (Njagun jorli boowa larlarngarrda). Then she got stuck and stopped at a place called Barrd Barrd Marni Ngarrdi (Barramundi shaking herself). You can see her there now sitting with her eggs.
