This painting shows an area of the artist's traditional country at Victoria River Downs Station in the Northern Territory. Sugarloo Billabong and Sugarloo Knob are indicated near the centre of the painting. Flowing diagonally across the centre is Sugarloo Creek Ngalgarung. The station workers would follow Sugarloo Creek from the stock camps at Gordon Creek to holiday camps at Moorloothbyi. "All the station workers would meet up for ceremony and for holidays sharing stories, dancing and hunting together.”
