“My name is Natalie Hunter, I’m from Bidyadanga Aboriginal Community, I have been living here all my life. The most things that inspired me is the landscape and the sea. I have one sister and three brothers, we all live here in Bidgy with our families. I like painting silks because it makes me free and relaxing.”
Natalie Hunter has exhibited in Sydney and Broome. As well as working as an artist, she is also the administrator at the Bidyadanga Community Art Centre. She comes from a family of artists who, with stories from long ago, fill Natalie with inspiration and ideas for her artwork.
