Alison Burgu is from the Mowanjum Community, located 10 km south east of Derby in the Kimberley region. Alison is a respected and hardworking senior artist. In her paintings, she applies her father's teachings and these are reflected in the subject matter of style and of her works. Her paintings have been exhibited in Western Australia and nationally.
